Earlier this week Jane and I had an opportunity for a mini-adventure. I had to observe a workshop in Belleville, IL. Since Belleville is a little over 4 hours south of Joliet, we were treated to a preview of the spring weather we'll experience here in a couple of weeks. We had beautiful, sunny weather, even though it was still a bit cool. The trees were just beginning to flower and as you can see in my picture the sky was a beautiful brilliant blue. We also managed to cap off our day with dinner at an Irish Pub that featured amazing Irish food and live music... a perfect end to a perfect day.
