Last week Jane and I discovered a rabbit-sized hole in our freshly fertilized and beginning to green backyard lawn. I muttered under my breath and filled in the hole intending to sprinkle some grass seed and hope for the best. Well a couple of days ago Jane noticed some rabbit fur on top of the hole. She looked underneath and... baby bunnies! Jane and I are now grandparents of a baby bunny family. We're a bit puzzled since we have seen no sign of mommy but the babies seem to have been doing OK. We're keeping out of their way and hoping for the best. Keep checking back and we'll keep you posted. Note: the babies are under the fur in the upper right-hand corner of the photo.
